I Was There When The World Didn't End

Well the 21st of May has been and gone but the world seems to have kept on turning without any inconvenient rapturing. However seeing as everyone's been talking about the end of the world i thought i'd compile a short list of things i'd do if, to quote a bit of graffiti in '28 Days Later', "The end is very fucking nigh". This isn't a list of the greatest of each category, it's a list of the things i personally would want to enjoy one last time.

One film to watch before the end: Monty Python and The Holy Grail

One album: Bloc Party - Silent Alarm

One song: John Murphy - Adagio in D Minor

One book: Nick Hornby - High Fidelity

One drink: An expensive bottle of whisky

One DVD of a sporting event: Highlights of the 2005 Champions League Final between Milan and Liverpool

One episode of a TV show: Coupling - The Man With Two Legs

One place to stay as it happens: Berlin

So that's my pre-apocalypse priorities but after writing it out i kind of want to spend a couple of days this summer putting all that into action because it sounds like it'd be time well spent whether or not the world was close to ending.
